BONDFIRE @ THE BOWERY
Sunday, January 24, 2010
Bondfire is a monthly Hip Hop concert series which takes place at The Bowery Poetry Club in Manhattan (308 Bowery St. between Houston & Bleeker). Bondfire will be held this month on Tuesday, January 26th from 10:00 PM through 3:00 AM. Ticketes are $5.00 in advance and $10.00 after 10:30 PM. The show is hosted by The Bronx Uber Villain and WBAI 99.5 FM's own Tasty Keish from Rise Up Radio. DJ Boosh Wheelz will be spinning with performances by Raye 6 and My Brother's Keeper. There will also be an open mic during the event with 15 slots available for those who want to showcase their skills live on stage.
This month's show is an extra special one because A Monthly Bondfire has teamed up with Cybille St. Aude of Homebase NYC to make donation bins available for attendees to donate various items to help the earthquake rattled people of Haiti. Donation suggestions include: radios, flashlights, various batteries, toiletries, baby products (including milk, diapers and wipes), non perishable food items, first aid kits, over the counter meds, vitamins, blankets, sheets, flip flops, and socks.
