Most of my readers don't really know my stance on Duck Down Records 'cause I haven't had an opportunity to discuss them due to a lack of new shit recently. They have a slew of releases set to hit stores in 2010 and I couldn't be more happy. I love Duck Down and all of their artists. Dru Ha has done an excellent job of maintaining a strong, underground roster of talent for two decades. The man needs some credit here because most labels of this nature fold or disband. Not Duck Down.

Heltah Skeltah is my personal favorite group from the Boot Camp Clik and Rockness Monsta (a.k.a. Rock) has been one of my favorite rhymers since I first heard him back in the Fab 5 days and doing some hooks on Smif-N-Wessun's "The Shining" album. He recently leaked a mixtape joint over Snoop Dogg's crazy popular "I Wanna Rock" beat. 2DopeBoyz.com is reporting that he has a new mixtape set for release titled "Rockin' Out West."
